Clear Cut Landscape & Irrigation Management was started in 1999 and was incorporated as Clear Cut Landscape & Irrigation, Inc. in 2008.
Marcia's original duties for Clear Cut were designing, customer interface, estimating and material procurement while the company was a sole proprietorship. Now that Clear Cut has been incorporated, Marcia has taken over the financial duties. She misses working with customers and doing design work but finds "steering the ship" both pleasant and rewarding. Marcia is a Texas Licensed Irrigator; LI7643. Marcia is WBE certified with the NCTRA, certificate number WFNB41582N0710.
Our Vice President/Quality Control/Business Development, Richard Sterling, has 25+ years in the green industry. Richard is responsible for marketing and quality control of our properties. His background consists of architectural design, civil engineering and horticulture taken at Texas A&M. Richard started his career in architecture in 1980, went into civil engineering in 1981, and then used these skills and knowledge to enter into the green industry. Richard owned Capital Landscape & Irrigation in Austin, Texas from 1983 to 1993.
Leona Stines, our Office Manager, is responsible for all office management. She answers our phones, keeps all paperwork flowing, schedules the work crews, handles all work orders, and follows up on completed work, among other tasks.
Together our team of professionals enjoys the projects that we work on. As a team we approach each project with care as if we were creating our own home environment. We constantly hear that we have been awarded the job because we listen to what the customer has in mind, we have clean well maintained equipment and our crew is in uniform.

The President and Chief Financial
Officer, Marcia Gomez, has
30+ years experience in the
design industry designing everything from large industrial equipment to
elementary schools, from semiconductor piping in Austin to piping for the
petro-chem industry in Houston. She attended University of Texas and later
taught AutoCAD and related subjects for three years at ITT Technical Institute
in both Austin and Houston. Her background encompasses everything from design,
project management, teaching and field supervision of million dollar projects.
